Mixed Fortunes in Local Derbys

Two Colchester Amateur Boxing Club members had mixed fortunes on Friday night. Reuben Gahan and Liam Hanrahan both boxed at a show run by Harwich Amateur Boxing Club at the Western Holmes Community Stadium in Colchester on the 21st January. The show was a twelve bout thriller with Reuben boxing second on the bill and Liam closing the show.

2011 kicks off

Colchester ABC had a mixed start to 2011 as two boxers travelled to Brentwood on Saturday 15th January to compete in the Canvey ABC open show. George Bird was facing Canvey boxer Sam Mitchell and Ryan Frost was making his debut against Dale Youth’s Lorenzo Grasso.
